The web UI brings the same streamlined experience — built for micro-tasking and crowd hiring with verified, human workers — to your laptop or desktop.
Why the web?
Most teams plan, review, and approve work on desktop devices. The new web UI fits that rhythm: open a tab, post a job, batch-hire, confirm completion, and pay — all without grabbing your phone mid-flow. Work was designed for high-volume collaboration with real people; the web makes that power easier to use throughout your day.
Same power, new surface
Everything you expect from Work mobile app is here on the web: contracts management with funds secured until the job is done, crowd hiring that takes minutes instead of days, and convenient communication channel with freelancers. It’s the same engine, just tuned for desktop speed.
Pay in USD
On mobile, clients have been able to pay in WLD. With the web launch, clients can now pay freelancers in USD — a simpler choice for many teams and workflows — while keeping the same smooth, one-click completion flow as in mobile app.
